Effective immediately, I am retiring from the bounty business. There are a couple reasons why--work in RL has gotten busy, there are just so many requests, I'm being asked to translate stuff I find boring/a turnoff--but the main reason is that I translate for fun, and when I start to dread rather than enjoy receiving a request, it's pretty obvious that I should stop. I will continue to upload personal translations, and I am willing to trade translations for favors (e.g., large editing tasks, access to scans of rare doujinshi), but I will no longer accept translation requests.

Notes for other translators

• I have no objection to other translators using my work to translate into languages other than English, and there is no need to ask permission. However, I would appreciate you crediting me somewhere, either on a credit page or in the gallery description.

Normally I'd say that Kaguya and Shirogane are out of character, but in canon they're about 40 seconds away from screwing each other like bunnies, so maybe not? Considering how popular the manga and now anime are, I'm surprised this hasn't been done sooner by someone else. On the other hand, there were a lot of speech bubbles where the text just barely poked over the lines, which made redrawing, though not difficult, quite tedious.

I really like this series, but the characters are drawn too childlike for me to really enjoy doujinshi of them. Nanashiki got around this issue by simply aging up Takagi and Nishikata to high schoolers. This doujinshi has a pretty fun story, though it was a real pain to edit because so much text was over the background rather than in bubbles.

I'm a little surprised no one else did this already. It seems much truer to the spirit of the original series compared to some other doujinshi that were translated almost instantly.
