Some miscommunication.
You're talking about crude equipments, while we're talking about crude items, like 'crude health potion'.

Some test results on Lifestream.
At first I thought it would work like the old Poison, but then I noticed the drain amount was always the same.

How about you separate those questions into 'answered', 'testing' and 'unanswered'?

Anything not crossed off is unanswered, I put a (T) on those being tested. Everyone is free to do testing separately of course. It helps give me more confidence on the answers when more people agree to them.

Some test results on Lifestream.

Sorry I'm still confused by all this. Lifestream only does damage and healing based on the player's base HP and nothing else? No proficiencies or monster stats matter?

So it would seem.
Proficiency doesn't enter into the equation, I've already tested every Prof-boosting suffix. Same goes for EDB.

Affirmative by using high-interference suit.

Add another cap.

QUOTE
- Lifestream was modified from draining at most 5% of the target's max HP to draining at most 5% of the target's current HP.

reference

Also, as Randommember has pointed out some time ago, and refering to 0.5.1 patch notes,

QUOTE
- Out-of-battle regeneration has been changed as follows:
-- The base is no longer affected by regen bonuses.
-- Base health regeneration was increased from 5 to 20. (Effective +10 with full regen bonus.)
-- Base mana regeneration was increased from 1 to 5. (Effective +3 with full regen bonus.)
-- Base spirit regeneration was increased from 0.1 to 1. (Effective +0.8 with full regen bonus.)

- In-battle regeneration has been changed as follows:
-- Health regeneration has been removed.
-- Mana regeneration has been doubled.

reference

Which means the equation should be changed to
QUOTE
Health Regen (per minute) = 20 + (END / 5)
Magic Regen (per minute) = 5 + (WIS / 25)
Spirit Regen (per minute) = 1 + (STR + DEX + AGI + END + INT + WIS) / 600

And to further complicate the story...
I was trying to use mp regen rate as a cut-in point to calculate monster's WIS.
When the result's out, I am surprised to find that WIS has ABSOLUTELY NO EFFECT on monster's mp regen rate!
Instead, the mp regen rate for monsters = roundup(monster's max mp/20), PER MONSTER'S ACTION.
Which also means faster monsters have certain edge.

Also, that means monsters may have different set of stat formula....

QUOTE(Maximum_Joe @ Oct 26 2011, 06:54) *

New questions!

* The cost to rename a monster is always 5 tokens, right?
3 tokens. Click rename and Tenb will kindly reminds you smile.gif
It's the 'delete monster' which costs 5 tokens. You can also check 0.5.1 patch notes.

* Does Unarmed do Void damage or not?
Crushing damage. Just tested.

* At what percentage does a player's health flash red?
35%. Others should check again though.

* What is the base proficiency gain rate?
I can't even think of a method to test that wacko.gif

* What is the in-combat regen rate per turn for HP,MP, and SP?
The quote above, together with the fact that each turn(action) takes 2 seconds, should be something like
Magic Regen in battle (per action) = (5 + (WIS / 25))/15

* What is the formula for Spirit Attack damage exactly? Do other debuffs help it? (only one noted is PA)
Last time Sayo checked...
Hm...should we bother on something that will be removed soon?

All done besides Spirit Attack, ty.

I suck at logarithms so I can't make heads or tails of Sayo's calculations. Or maybe all he found was a tangible relation between SP and damage done.

* How much does Interference reduce proficiencies (past 25)?

reference

QUOTE
- Interference now instead applies a penalty on your magical proficiencies:
-- Every point of interference above 25 reduces all effective proficiencies by 0.75% of the base proficiency. Since you can't have negative proficiency, this naturally caps at about 154.8 interference.

This still holds. I don't have equipment with that much interference to test the cap though.

* Can the accuracy and crit chance formulas be simplified a bit?

No. It's complicated because of the number of factors affecting it.

Hm....Some changes in drop rate in patch 0.4.0 which I was searching other threads.
Probably useful in the future.

QUOTE
Drop changes

Loot drop rates have been tweaked further:

- Consumables now drop at a rate of 50% health, 30% mana, 10% spirit, 4% scroll, 4% infusion, 1% elixirs and 1% "special"

- Artifacts are now about five times as likely to drop randomly. They have also been changed to all have the same "value" (10k).

- Equipment is now about twice as likely to drop randomly. Base value has been halved.

- Rare+ mobs should now give the intended amount of credits.

- Consumable drop rates have been shifted somewhat from health potions towards mana potions. Instead of consumable drops being 40% health and 20% mana, it's now 30% health and 30% mana.

What are the chances of getting an elemental status effect upon hitting a target?
After doing some tests with different spells and equipment sets, I can confidently say I have no idea.
The odds keep shifting from 70-71% to 78-79% and vice versa, so either the sample is still too small (~1400 hits right now) or there are some factors I didn't consider.
Besides, I don't think all spells have the same chance of proccing a status effect. Soul Fire/Soul Burst are particularly iffy in this regard.

Using only Pestilence/Purge in an Item World:

Hits: 1183
Hits that proced a status effect: 893 (75.49%)

I used Ragnarok towards the end and the ratio went up considerably (from ~74.8% to ~76.5% and then back to ~75.5% when I switched back to Pestilence).

I still maintain that different spells have different proc chances, but someone should double check.

I take it Easy is x0.5?

Easy (and Cake when it was around) is supposed to have the same HP as Normal. The other stats are what got lowered.

BTW, somebody add the descriptions for the figurines.
Twilight Sparkle Figurine: A 1/10th scale figurine of Twilight Sparkle, the cutest, smartest, all-around best pony. According to Pinkie Pie, anyway.
Rainbow Dash Figurine: A 1/10th scale figurine of Rainbow Dash, flier extraordinaire. Owning this will make you about 20% cooler, but it probably took more than 10 seconds to get one.
Applejack Figurine: A 1/10th scale figurine of Applejack, the loyalest of friends and most dependable of ponies. Equestria's best applebucker, and founder of Appleholics Anonymous.
Fluttershy Figurine: A 1/10th scale figurine of Fluttershy, resident animal caretaker. You're going to love her. Likes baby dragons; Hates grown up could-eat-a-pony-in-one-bite dragons.
Pinkie Pie Figurine: A 1/10th scale figurine of Pinkie Pie, a celebrated connoisseur of cupcakes and confectioneries. She just wants to keep smiling forever.
Rarity Figurine: A 1/10th scale figurine of Rarity, the mistress of fashion and elegance. Even though she's prim and proper, she could make it in a pillow fight.
Trixie Figurine: A 1/10th scale figurine of The Great and Powerful Trixie. After losing her wagon, she now secretly lives in the Ponyville library with her girlfriend, Twilight Sparkle.
Princess Celestia Figurine: A 1/10th scale figurine of Princess Celestia, co-supreme ruler of Equestria. Bored of the daily squabble of the Royal Court, she has recently taken up sock swapping.
Princess Luna Figurine: A 1/10th scale figurine of Princess Luna, aka Nightmare Moon. After escaping her 1000 year banishment to the moon, she was grounded for stealing Celestia's socks.
Apple Bloom Figurine: A 1/10th scale figurine of Apple Bloom, Applejack's little sister. Comes complete with a "Draw Your Own Cutie Mark" colored pencil and permanent tattoo applicator set.
Scootaloo Figurine: A 1/10th scale figurine of Scootaloo. Die-hard Dashie fanfilly, best pony of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, and inventor of the Wingboner Propulsion Drive. 1/64th chicken.
Sweetie Belle Figurine: A 1/10th scale figurine of Sweetie Belle, Rarity's little sister. Comes complete with evening gown and cocktail dress accessories made of 100% Dumb Fabric.
Big Macintosh Figurine: A 1/10th scale figurine of Big Macintosh, Applejack's older brother. Famed applebucker and draft pony, and an expert in applied mathematics.
Spitfire Figurine: A 1/10th scale figurine of Spitfire, team leader of the Wonderbolts. Dashie's idol and occasional shipping partner. Doesn't actually spit fire.
Derpy Hooves Figurine: A 1/10th scale figurine of Derpy Hooves, Ponyville's leading mailmare. Outspoken proponent of economic stimulus through excessive muffin consumption.
Lyra Figurine: A 1/10th scale figurine of Lyra. Features twenty-six points of articulation, replaceable pegasus hoofs, and a detachable unicorn horn.
Octavia Figurine: A 1/10th scale figurine of Octavia. Famous cello musician; believed to have created the Octatonic scale, the Octahedron, and the Octopus.
Zecora Figurine: A 1/10th scale figurine of Zecora, a mysterious zebra from a distant land. She'll never hesitate to mix her brews or lend you a hand. Err, hoof.
Cheerilee Figurine: A 1/10th scale figurine of Cheerilee, Ponyville's most beloved educational institution. Your teachers will never be as cool as Cheerilee.
Angel Figurine: A lifesize figurine of Angel, Fluttershy's faithful yet easily vexed pet and life partner. All-purpose assistant, time keeper, and personal attack alarm.
Gummy Figurine: A lifesize figurine of Gummy, Pinkie Pie's faithful pet. Usually found lurking in your bathtub. While technically an alligator, he is still arguably the best pony.
