Since ultimaflaral is the most prolific TL I've known in my career here (and that's on top on the high level of his TL skill), I'd like to recognize him by setting up this dedicated thread for his future scripts.

Also, I want to reduce the number of scripts in any given thread to avoid confusion (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Some guidelines for editors:
* crappy editing will not be accepted. Crappy is defined as in - people would flame it in the forums, and experienced EHCOVE members would/will complain about it here;
* translated SFXes should be edited in unless they require substantial redrawing, about which we can negotiate;
* please include credits with the translator name (unless they requested here to be anonymous), yourself as an editor (if you want), and sponsor nickname (usually mine and those of others who contributed to this bounty significantly) as the sponsor(s), and the name of our site (E-hentai) as the host. Link to the Cove forums is good too, as is a funny cartoon (because I like them).
* Since I get often asked for examples of what EHCOVE style credit pages are, here are some credit pages I liked a lot: link; link; link; link; link; link; link; link; link; link;
* if you do the editing: please note I (or whoever is the primary EHCOVE sponsor/bounty poster) would like to upload the gallery to e-h system themselves; we are not expecting much profit, but as a fellow bounty poster said it, it's all about prestige. Our first One Piece release in a while, courtesy of Red_Piotrus's excellent selection. Nami's shopping trip ends poorly for her, but arguably pretty well for the rest of the crew when Baroque Works steps in. Nice stuff if you're into Kurione-sha.

Editors, this is 20 pages of very reasonable editing. Just MAKE SURE to use the digital gallery above and not the original Shiawase Punch gallery, which has crap quality.

So I'm ending the Yuna a la madness now. YALM 1, 2, and 4 already had translations ,while YALM 5 has a current bounty. Somehow #3 was skipped, but no longer! EHCOVE is here to save the day! Two stories in this one. The first is Kitty's continuation from YALM 1 and/or 2; the 2nd is a mildly hilarious story with Rikku. In fact, Rikku features as heavily as Yuna does or more despite the title. That's a theme we'll be revisiting later in Yuna a la Mode #6 and #8.

Editors, this is about 40 pages of moderate editing. By and large the sfx are UNTRANSLATED, so that's not bad. That said, there's a moderate number of bubbles and the scans aren't as nice as we could hope for.

So this was an out-and-out goof on my part. I thought the first chapter of Shiawase Punch ended with the Nami story and that the Vivi story was a second chapter altogether. Turns out I was wrong! As such, I am making amends for my lapse and have translated the Vivi 2nd story as well. Femdom isn't really my thing, but it's not so bad here. Maybe I just feel like if anyone in the One Piece universe deserves a little sadism it's Sanji?

Editors, this one is just a dozen pages long and is reasonably light on sfx. Should be a good project.

Interesting, though not exactly what I meant. It's probably the sort of thing you have to see in the raw!



[puts on his Translator cap] This is from page 29. One would be forgiven for assuming that the hearts circled in red are merely decorative, but not so! In fact, these hearts are taking the place of the dakuten (aka "ten-ten") marks that are needed to create the heart-pounding sfx. Normally that sfx would be written as ドキドキ. See the little double-stroke over the first and third characters? Compare those with the hearts above! As such, the hearts are actually a part of the written language itself!

Since the hearts are a part of the writing I had [www.dafont.com] something like this in mind, though perhaps something less flowery. Thus my note in the script for the Editor. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)
