This looks awful, it's bad enough on my phone, I can't even begin to imagine how horrible it must be on desktop

Please change the Thumbnail Mode back to the Thumbnail gallery view.
This way it is tooooooo much scrolling to view the front pages and it is very uncomfortable.


Suggestion for the categories choice:
There is not a very big difference between the shading when unclicking them.
Instead of shading the colours how about making them grey? It would be crystal clear then.

I love the extended view. Being able to see tags on the gallery search is very neat. Although I have to admit it is very clunky looking, but I can chalk it up to me just not being used to it.

And distracts from what's more important , The titles.

Yeah I feel the title for each gallery should be above the thumbnail at the very least. Might even be better to switch those two those around, with the category, date and rating at the bottom, whereas the title goes on top.

Visually, there is not a lot of difference between an enabled and a disabled category, especially for categories with colors on the light-ish side (Artist CG, Non-N, Western, etc.). Either darkening the category colors or lowering the opacity for disabled categories might help.

I think I understand why the titles have been moved to below the thumbnail in thumbnail mode, but I still feel like having them above the thumbnail would work better. Maybe add a flag in the future to move them back to the top and have them be fixed height somehow (hidden overflow, have them overflow onto the thumbnail, etc.)?

Looks good but thumbnail view is missing the page count, that is my only real gripe.

Hmmm... I hid parody:neon genesis evangelion and when I search for it I get Showing page 1-5 of 3,448 results. Your filters excluded 118 galleries from this page. and I get 7 results showing instead of none. I don't think that's the expected behavior.

I donated(gold star) but there is an some invisible gallery included in the Korean ip van. Is it a policy change or an error in renewal?

Wow. After a decade of scrolling through the galleries, there's finally a change.

There was a bug on the settings screen which was fixed, but I'm not currently seeing this. Can you still reproduce this behavior?

The behavior of the old sets is still there, as the color and hiding/watching behavior can be set on a per-tag basis.

So, category names for the API also changed.

"Artist CG Sets" → "Artist CG"
"Game CG Sets" → "Game CG"
"Image Sets" → "Image Set"

It seems to be hiding all of them for me. I am seeing some minor weirdness when searching for a hidden tag, but I'll have to look into that a bit more.

Even weirder, it finally hid everything from Evangelion so I tried to hide something else like Kancolle and I got Showing page 1-5 of 8,100 results. Your filters excluded 123 galleries from this page. and two results showing. I refreshed a couple seconds later and it showed me one item completely different from the other two. So I got back to Evangelion and now I have a new item showing. I refresh but nothing changes.

Would it be possible to display the old "Tag flagging" values (if they still exist) somewhere, so that they can be written down to be reused with what's new?
Also, there's no "My tags" in the fjords (haven't tried to use this new thing yet, but I suppose it's the replacement).

And a completely unrelated thing: while I was checking hath perks (to see what was the current state of the perk related to flagging), I saw the completely outdated description of "Ads-Be-Gone" (mentioning ad "display ads toggle").
Missed an opportunity to fix it while in the code

I dont mind the change to thumbnails but there is something that was really important to me wich was seeing the number of files on the gallery as mentioned on the previous post, with the new one its now shown unless on one of the other modes.
knowing how big a doujin is help decide what to open, hope it can be implemented.

, found the problem with the thumbnail view is a compatibility issue.

It displays ok on my new pc with widescreen and firefox, but on the old pc with 19" square screen and Opera browser, the thumbnail view displays just like the Extended view, but without the extra info.

From seeing replies from others, more people will have this problem.
Any chance you could fix it?

The fact that thumbnail view only a single huge column now instead of several columns feels like a step backwards... I tend to look at galleries halfway based on tags and halfway based on art style, so this slows/limits how much I look at at once, so I'm less inclined to browse much. I use a tablet to browse most of the time, and this is severly limited by the new layout.

I feel like i'm on a colorful touchscreen or something.

I agree with these remarks. Text and thumbnails are too big !

But there is a solution, if you uses Firefox: Use Ctrl- (minus) to reduce the size.
With 2 strikes you get the same look as before the update
