i usually use google but when i want to do a search using only chinese/korean/japanese characters i would use duck duck go and baidu along with google to try to find additonal results i did not see on google

Google and Bing both filter AND censor results politically. This also affects Duckduckgo because it gets many results by crossreferencing other search engines. If those engines (google, bing, others) politically censor their data, then the Duck also ends up the same way. Duck also admitted to censorship for the good of the users. Yandex seems to be the last of the major free public (baidu is not public) search engines not using USA liberal politics as a criteria for politically censoring search results.

If I remember right DDG gets a lot of it's results from Bing so when Microsoft do something on their end it effects DDG too, think that's how their recent censorship of Tiananmen Square happened.

google is pretty good for daily searching,but i will use duckduckgo to search something “weird”

I use Duckduckgo for most things even if it definitely gives me terrible results.

I actually have to use google and google scholar for work or I just never find what I want.

Google works fine for me.

Sometimes I use some academic search services when doing school work.

Bing used to be good for porn. I'd love a search engine that would allow me to filter out certain sites forever though. Google used to do that, but not anymore.

Mainly Google for day to day stuff.

DuckDuckGo or Yandex for stuff which Google tends to censor.

Using Google (Windows) and Yahoo (Linux).

Google and Google Images are irreplaceable for me. Gets the job done 99.5 out ot 100 times.
