Nothing much, but I'm pretty surprised that my own country actually has a vtuber and they are part of hololive to boot

Hololive talent is definitely international; like Kiryuu Coco is pretty bilingual.

I think the Covid isolation in addition to the Japanese' natural isolationist tendencies made a perfect storm for Hololive to get huge this year lol. All the other artists and idols had to cancel events for about 3~4 months.

I watch a couple from time, don't know how popular Ai-chan still is lol

Only for the song covers. My favorite is Domyoji Cocoa, because her selection is sick.

I don't watch _any_ youtubers.
I might watch a one-off video, but I'd rather read a book.

Not necessarily on-topic here, but this is the general vibe youtube always gives me regardless, and it drives me away from the site with recommendations that just make me cringe.


I do have some friends that watch vtubers, though. They probably have more weeb cred than I do.
