Trying to expand one of the ideas that originated from Ass Spanker's recent music contests. Maybe get a different audience in a different subforum.

If you know of any songs that resemble each other in any sort of way, either in their entirety or just a specific part, please post them. In pairs, with timestamps if applicable. At least one of the songs in each comparison should be anime, game, or japanese in origin.

I just watched Umisho. It's actually an anime about swimsuits and made pretty well! Too bad it doesn't seem to finish the manga storyline. BGM seems copied from various other songs. I discovered this show thanks to your contest but these songs are different so I'll make a new post instead of adding to my prior one.

I can see why you think they are similar but if you put them into a music program, they diverge pretty quickly after the first 3 notes.

That rhythm is so iconic anything that uses the same rhythm is probably intentionally parodying it.

It sounds like a pretty common and basic jazz(?) rhythm.

The rest just don't sound that similar besides the common characteristics of certain genres and certain eras of music.

Now this is a bit different from my usual comparisons but it triggers my sussy sensor.

This Miku sounds way too similar to MitchieM's Miku. If you have listened to a fair bit of Vocaloid, you would know how distinctive some producers tune their Miku. MitchieM and ryo are 2 that have very unique Mikus.
