I'm not sure if this counts as slang, but the コメコウジ circle seems fond of using the term "おにゃか" as a substitute for お腹。 If the google image results are any indication, it's probably a wordplay of にゃあ+ お腹.

It's just kanda babyish ("kittyish") pronunciation.
Not kinda slang.

Educated guess: (body part)+マンコ is meant to convey that body party's usage in some sexual act without having to directly state the act.

Well, some of "real girls" say "hand job" as "指フェラ" lol.

Can someone explain the fundamental differences between Japanese and Yakuza Japanese? I heard they have their own dialect but just now hearing that its vast enough to 'confuse' even Japanese people. Is it the equivalent of English Ebonics or worse?

I didn't heard about "Yakuza Japanese".
You mean this?
[www.jingai.com] http://www.jingai.com/yakuza/introduction.html

Well, this is simply a mixture of dialects of Hiroshima-dialect, Okayama-dialect, Kawachi-dialect, so on (mainly, dialects of Yakuza's home town) and some argots.

So, It's not a special language, and common japanese can understand it.

豆乳 (Mame-chichi) = Very small breasts. The original word (豆乳) is pronounced as "tounyuu" and means "soy milk".

Question for experienced translators or those who've worked on a number of projects in general. How common or uncommon is it for hentai to use dirty language? As in the equivalent of profanity in English. How often does Japanese pornography use words that would literally translate to cock, cunt, slut, whore, etc? Literal (or bad imo) translations always sound terribly coy for the situation. Using formal and vague words like penis, vagina, special place, 'down there', 'release it' etc. I know a bit about Japanese culture, but it's still hard to imagine grown ass people being so inhibited they talk like little kids during sex.

I can't see your point.

I don't see what "literal" you mean.
Simply, formal words should be translated into formal, and dirty words should be translated into dirty.

Also there are no tete-a-tete translations on slang, so it depends on the sense of each translator.

There's no point, there's a question. One you seem to have ignored.

Oh, there is no point in the question?

If your questions are "how common or uncommon" and/or "how often", simply it "depends on each work".

About as often as you see them. Maybe less. It seems unlikely that any translator would go with something tamer than the literal version, while the opposite may happen more easily.

In the case of genitalia, words on about the level of "dick" and "pussy", as I would see them, seem to be pretty common. However, often a single work uses different words with different levels of naughtiness, so more formal words may be used to show the contrast in such cases. It also depends on the character. A more "innocent" character will obviously use more roundabout terms. "release it" though? That one's a bit, yeah...

Anyway, first, you must recognize what are the differences between "dirty words", "slang", "baby talk" and "formal words" of Japanese.

Well, even if someone loves to translate "literally", he won't translate "ちんぽこ" into "small pike" lol.

I'm just sick of reading stuff where the words don't match what's going on. If it's porn, there really should be a few fucks, dicks and pussies in there somewhere. Not a grotesque amount, just enough to sound natural. ...for something in English at least.

That depends on translators' sense and readers' knowledge of Japanese culture.

But, don't forget that sometimes authors intentionally use "unfit" words.

Anyone got an idea, what ぬふぁーん is supposed to express? Is it like the sighing over some wishful dream, or something totally different?

You got some examples for situations when it is used? Can't have that many meanings, can it?
