How would "Itadakimasu" (いただきます) be translated in hentai terms? For example, some girl is preparing to give a blowjob, and she says "いただきます". I know that in normal terms it would be "thanks for the meal" or "let's dig in" or something along those lines, but I don't know how it would be translated in hentai.

I'd at least make a tl note about the romaji, as it is a term known to most serious fans.

"Thanks for the meal" fits "gochisousama" more imo. I'm not sure if there's a good stock phrase (not connected with relligion) in English for starting a meal, so something like "let's dig in" seems the best of all translations possible, even if it's not a good one.

Reading it in Japanese is the proper way to experience it for the serious fans (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) You seem to be halfway there...

Oh. Wow. .-. A quick skim of a dictionary confirms that. Then why is the Kanji rarely used? In all the formats I've seen the word used in, it's always in Katakana. Do you think it's for ease of recognition, or is it for emphasis? I feel like I wouldn't have been thrown off so badly if I had seen the Kanji form first. In the Edo period, セリフ is written as 世流布 (SERUFU).
Now today, both 台詞 (DAISHI) and 科白 (KAHAKU) are also pronounced as セリフ.
Then, including all of them, often it is written as セリフ.


Some addition suggestions:


乙 (OTSU) = Short for お疲れ様でした, but often used as offensive word to a person who made effort about worthless things.

顔シャ (GANSHA) = Short for 顔面シャワー (facial cum). Often written as 顔射 (short for 顔面射精) but it's not origin.

貴腐人 (KIFUJIN) = 腐女子 of major category.

ことよろ (KOTOYORO) = Short for 今年もよろしく (I look forward to seeing you again this year). Often used after あけおめ.

尺八 (SHAKUHACHI) = Japanese end-blown flute. But often means blowjob.

"積む" isn't correct.
"詰む" is it.

マンコ・マン (MANKO, MAN) = Vagina.

Also means "sexual insertion", like "マンコしよう(let's fuck)", "口マンコ(blowjob)", "脇マンコ(armpit job)" or so on.
