Is my general sentiment correct though or are there variant sets where speechless is viable? The only ones I can think of were it may count are galleries like this that are repititions of the same "paneled" image. I'd still not call it speechless, and I'm not even sure if variant set is valid either.

I have seen people tagging masturbation variant set works as "speechless" before.

Its one point where I've often disagreed with how Romanicyte tags his own galleries, the "there's just barely enough of a narrative that you can put the variants in a chronological order of progressively stripping/getting hard then cumming" but I don't consider it a massive issue either, people probably manage their expectations when it comes to variant sets (or at least, they should, just like we shouldn't expect presence to be satisfactory on imagesets with a "satisfactory sequence" still being 1% of the content sometimes). A full exclusion feels a bit extreme to me.

Based on personal observation I don't think language tags other than Rewrite are often upvoted by taggers, usually the uploader starts it at +100 and it'll stay there unless a vig intervenes. Often when I find English or Speechless tags that need downvotes I can check up on the uploader and immidiately see they've made the same mistake a few dozen times already so my downvote request list will get very inflated by just a comparatively small group of uploaders who don't understand how to do language tags.

You can notify a tag checker about it if you think an uploader is consistently misusing the language option.

I can but what difference will it make? I know from 3x2 that a tag ban can't stop someone from tagging their own galleries anyway (pretty sure they even keep the +20, great that they got that avenue to redeem themselves but feel like the +20 is just counterproductive in that context) and an upload ban to solve a tagging issue would not really be right either. Wouldn't need moderation to get involved in just shooting a PM with tagging advice either.

Based on top list activity I'm fairly certain that 50% if not more of the tags I call out on Cosplay galleries have been seeded by the same person tagging his own galleries; I've sorta resigned myself to it being a problem mods can't fix at this point.

Would the situation be any different if its just language tags?

One thing I should note for tag checkers in general, the reasons I give when asking for downvotes are effectively tracing back why it was mistagged in the first place. "not present" should be a red flag as it generally means I couldn't figure out why any somewhat rational tagger would have applied it in the first place.(though exceptions are there of course, especially if its given as reason for a whole batch instead of a specific link)

Oh neat, only case I can think of right now is http://ehentaihip.com/?f_search=uploader:ozy...mp;prev=2406379 where English having the 50% imageset presence is really a matter of rare coincidence and he keeps churning out new galleries very consistently, and http://ehentaihip.com/uploader/abzd623 tagging his figure sets without narrative as Speechless though the batch of requests I got ready for next morning should have the last of that.

Edit: actually, wasn't the last one, forgot about the other ones Kaguya ninjad for a moment because I had them listed under multi-tag requests instead of the general Speechless pile.

I am an aggressive tagger, I like adding/upvoting all valid tags to galleries I happen to come across (that's why tags exist, right?). That's why I try to learn about the ones I saw the most in the past.

Since from time to time I give lots of galleries a full clean, I like to have more firm grasp on at what point some fetish tags are valid or not, that shows negatively some times (here too).

Some tags have some overlap, so I bring some cases to this thread to see if someone has a more solid understanding or a hint to differentiate them. In case there is not [much] response I take that as people also not having much understanding about it either.

I admit I add lots of "unnecessary" and "debatable" tags to galleries, specially mine. In here, for example, I added speechless, collar, dark skin, mesuiki and unusual teeth. Many would disagree with lots of, if not all, those tags. Technically (in my eyes, otherwise I wouldn't add them) they fit the definition, so they aren't "wrong".

I can [reluctantly] try to be a bit less aggressive with the tagging, if people think it's going overboard, but...

The tag sarashi is currently unavailable in the male namespace due to lack of examples. But I feel there MUST be qualifying examples, I just cannot find them... if you got any, please post them in the namespacing thread to get it activated.

On a related note I feel like there probably is a presence-passing example of a pussyboy getting fingered. If you know any, please share it. Same for pussyboys participating in tribadism.


On another related note, the tags f:goat and f:pegasus do exists but don't show up in the list. Probably easily fixable.

Point out the pages that support your request, like with any other tag.

9 out of 10 people do it without and the requested tag are gone. I do it after putting page, it stick even after 3 requests

Meow_pao is right, contextual tags need dialogue, so they potentially can vary between different language versions.

Hmm, I'm not sure if that counts and even then, I'm not suure if such a tag would be namespaced if the best example is non-h. I was pretty confident that there would be some variant sets that look something like this but maybe my feeling was off. Not quite what I hoped for, but thanks for digging one up. Thanks for fixing it! I see how it don't has any major impact, but I feel like there is some worth in having a complete list of tags in the m/f/x namespaces at least. And given that it's not that much effort to keep it in sync, I would continue to point out if I note anything missing unless someone tells me not to.

That list was never meant to be a tag collection though. It just indicates which tag(s) has something slaved to it, and what are they to be exact.

It is common for a tag to not appear on it for this very reason. Better to just direct people to the official list, which is constantly maintained and monitored.

I think that it's enough especially with the trail that goes between the penis and the vagina. But perhaps this needs clarification. I did try to bring this topic up a while ago now to get better clarification on where the lines were but it proved too difficult.

I agree with Cipher-kun, my understanding of "nudity only" is the abscence of anything sexual beyond nudity. This example has an obvious sexual element beyond that.
