Dark_DNA Sakata Gintoki's reincarnation Group: Members Posts: 231 Joined: 14-January 09 Level 24 (Apprentice) +K	I this thread i would like to see what os are you using and some opinions about it , problems that you faced i'm using windows 7 right now , had some problems with my sound and video card but i've downloaded their drivers from internet and now it's working good. It's using a bit more memory than windows xp witch I had before but it looks better --------------------

Those tend to bog down your system MUCH worse than the OS. Secondly -- what are your laptops specs? Many laptop manufacturers put Vista on machines that just are too dang slow for it.

And yes, for those of you keeping up, the current version of Ubuntu is 9.04. I need to update. Also, since the only game I seem to be playing at all recently is Starcraft, which actually runs acceptably on Ubuntu, I only boot up XP to use Photoshop xD.

I like it much better than Vista (by leaps and bounds in fact) when Vista came out as RC1, it is better than Vista SP1 and at least as good, if not better than XP in most params...
