The newer galleries actually look like they have been downscaled, run through waifu2x, and had a dumb saturation filter put over the top of all the images. I struggle to understand people sometimes.

Started petitions on the new galleries.

The order of panels (and bubbles within a panel) is left-to-right, but the lines in each bubble go bottom-to-top (except for a bubble on page 3, which also has the order of letters reversed in each word, and a bubble on page 4, which has each letter mirrored horizontally).

The newer gallery is trying to fix the BS, so doesn't really qualify for the malicious/intentional clause (and it's "readable" enough).

That is a rewrite/redraw, it is not in line with the defaced tag/expunge reason.

There's no better example of why Defaced can only be started by trusted users. The expunge reason is intended for content that is bad in more objective ways because of malicious intend, not for harassing users that are incompetent or uploaded content that you didn't like.

Blacklist the content that offended you and move along.

With its conflicting gallery, which has 3 pictures more. Those are watermarked.
But newer gallery has a more complete version of one particular collage.

I will download the galleries now but in first impression, newer gallery has some pictures in better res. Filesize suggests so.

Both galleries have content exclusive to each other.
Originally thought the expunge was adequate, very very doubtful now.

This user does a lot of this. The first gallery is an imageset of an artist, and the second one, uploaded later, is the same but more images.

Since basically the second gallery has almost all images the first one has, is it OK to expunge the first one? They are the same theme and from the same user.

These 3 galleries are very similar, but slight color and size difference.
If someone more knowledgeable could give them a look to tell if they are expungeable or not, thank you.

"Degraded" includes any sort of intentional bad-faith sabotage of the core content, including but not limited to excessive downsampling, blurring, pixelation etc, as well as leaving out core content.
