This is a thread for when I am too lazy to start a dedicated thread for a bounty, usually for those occasions when I find a translator before I post a bounty.

Rules reminder:

Translate the linked gallery into English. This is a translation-only bounty, a separate bounty will be posted for editing job after the translation bounty is completed.

This translation includes credit pages. Broken Engrish craplation will not be accepted.

This release will be under an [EHCOVE] group tag. You (the translator) will be credited for your work on a credit page unless you want to be anonymous.

If you accept the bounty, accept it here, PM me and post here. Once you've done so, the bounty will be reserved for you, however, if the translation is not completed within 2-3 weeks and you are unresponsive, it will be considered stalled/dropped and other translators will be allowed to work on it.

In addition to the carriers listed, you can also just post the translation in the forums.

Also:
* Due to potential misunderstandings about how to split the bounty between translators and editors that resulted in my recent bounties costing me 50%-100% more than listed price, I am now splitting the bounty between translating and editing. The first bounty that goes up in the system is for translating only. Once I have the translation, I'll post the editing bounty;

* yes, please translate (or at least summarize) any existing author's rants, credits, titles of content, and so on, if present;

I, speedyth have taken it upon myself to get this doujinshi typeset for you. I will be done within a week. I do note, however, that the scans I am working with are very low-quality. The images bleed through so much that leveling will obliterate all of the details in the work.

This is the script for Love Dashi 1 (Love Hina). The only major thing with the script has to do with the various heroines' styles of speech. Narusegawa speaks normally, so no issues there. Shinobu speaks very politely, which I tried to convey. Motoko often speaks very formally, which is obvious in certain spots though less so in others. Finally, Mitsune uses Kansai-ben.

Kansai-ben is a dialect of japanese found in the "Kansai" region of Japan. Word choices and sentence structure are somewhat different and involve contracted verb forms. That said, a person using Kansai-ben is essentially saying the EXACT same thing a standard Japanese speaker would, just with slightly different language. In my opinion, there simply is no good way to retain the feeling of Kansai-ben in English. I've seen people give a Kansai-ben character artificial accents (usually American South for some reason), but it always reads like crap. As a result, I simply translated Mitsune's words for their meaning and am leaving their tone to your imagination.

I'll put in my claim for the bounty on Friday evening, or as soon as an editing bounty is posted. As always, feel free to PM me with any questions.

For S1, I used Mighty Zeo Caps 2.0 for normal bubbles, Zud Juice for narration, Augie for small text bubbles and moans (haahs, Nnhs, and etc.), Twelve Ton Goldfish for normal SFX (thrust, slap, tremble and etc.) and Adam Warren Pro for sloppy SFX (lick, squirt, squelch and etc.)

RtV4 should be edited by t15 and I haven't heard that he dropped it; that said he has not replied to my status update request from last week. How about you PM him and see if he replies - the two of you could work together. If he doesn't give any sign of life, I'll open this to others; I don't mind slow work, but no contact for 2+ weeks is pushing it.

I just got a PM from Ito asking about the same job, and I told him the very same thing; please make sure you don't duplicate one another work.

I should have a new script or two coming up in days...
