Ok, so I think we need a thread to ID characters in galleries. One that will be, hopefully, somewhat more friendly (and lively) than what would be in vigi.

Rules are simple. If you find a gallery with a character that is not ID, post the link here, with a description of which character(s) is not ID.

When someone IDs it here, please also either tag the gallery (if the presence rule holds), or describe your ID in the gallery comments, where at least they can be (somewhat) searchable. What this means for us that if something appears only in 1-2 images, it cannot be tagged (sigh). But it can be ID in comments!

I'm fine with pinning this thread simply for the sake of it. Yet, it would be better placed in the vig. R&B does not really allow for (semi-off-topic) discussions.

That's what I suggested before, to pin it here, and them move, leaving a sticky redirect for people who want to request similar IDs here.

I think it would be better to have this separated rather then post in the Tagging and its abuse thread as Joe suggested. That thread is full of other stuff enough that I fear those kind of requests would either get lost in the noise, or add to them.

Stickiness only works for the current thread, not the redirect though. Let's move this nevertheless.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found a workaround. It is a sticky redirect in R&B now.

Looking for several characters in a School Rumble set I uploaded: http://ehentaihip.com/g/1122410/e98c1c6c51/

Once someone tagged it was a parody, I scrambled to ID all the characters, but I could only figure out a few of them - four to be precise. Either this circle did not follow accurate hair/eye colors for some of them (This is likely, since one of the characters I could ID has black, not green, hair), some of them are non-canon/very obscure characters, or both.

I need the red, purple, and dull green-haired girls in Slide 3, and the black-haired girl with red eyes and pubic hair in Slide 4 (I think the other is already tagged... with proper hair color, unlike all the others). All the other slides are either accounted for already, or girls that are mentioned in one of the other slides I listed.

My guesses are as follows:

Slide 3:
Purple = ???
Dull Green = Karen Ichijou probably, but not confident enough to tag.
Red = Either Akira Takano or Ayano Kinugawa; money is on Akira as the latter is only relatively rarely shown apparently, whereas Akira is a fairly core character.

Slide 4:
This is a hell of a stretch, but it might be Itoko Osakabe. Hair seems too short though...

It's a miscolor- check 19, 34, and 49 - the hair should be purple - Yakumo Tsukamoto
edit: Tenma's hair is also miscolored here, black instead of green.

And yeah, I noticed the miscolor too, but even then it's still not accurate to the originals when it's "right," which is what made it so hard.

I recommend making a comment in that gallery with IDs of the characters, I'd do it but as I don't know the series it would be easier for you guys.

25): 5-7: Maya Mukai (向井麻弥), 8-10: Shiori Kudou (工藤詩織)

26): 1-3: dunno , 4-6: Tomomi Isomura (磯村和美), 7-9: Mayuko Uchida (内田マユ子), 10-12: dunno, 18: might be Ena Saeki (佐伯恵那) without headband

38): girl on page two is the female heroine of dqiv (tag is sofia). usually has green hair, but pretty sure it's her. purple haired twins are meena and maya (dqiv). girl with orange hair (p8) is alena (dqiv as well). girl with long blue hair (p18) is nera briscoletti. maribel is correct. should be all.

76): same chars as 38.

The "ayu" part would be easy to explain, as her full name is Madoka Ayukawa and Kasuga-kun, the series main character, always call her Ayukawa.

But I agree that the illustrations don't remember her that much.
